In Early 2000 when I was at school this was the first phone I started using and instantly fell in love with the features it had. Before touch/smart phone generation, Nokia was like a boss leading mobile market because of its durability and battery quality. Many People believe that Nokia phones are the toughest objects in universe, and are said to be unbreakable, at least jokingly.
May be Nokia is dumb compared to the smartphones today with their 4G internet connections, touch screens, app installations etc, but back then it was like super computer compared to some competitors with the features like alarm clock, calendar, allowing text messages longer than 140 characters, stop watch, snake games etc.
Nokia 3310 has been reborn 17 years after it was first released.

On Feb 27th 2017 Nokia launched Nokia 6, 5, and 3 android phones along with Nokia 3310 on 27th which was highlight of that event.
HMD global chief marketing officer Mr.Pekka Rantala told in an interview that all the four products announced will be available in Indian market in the second quarter of this year and the average global selling price for Nokia 3310 will be 49 euros (Rs 3460 approx.)
