Yuvraj Singh’s YWC Ventures invests in Startup Buddy

YouWeCan(YWC) Ventures owned by ace Indian Cricketer Yuvraj Singh has invested an undisclosed amount in Startup Buddy which serves early-stage businesses.

The Gurugram-Based startup was founded by chartered accountants Manish Aggarwal and Amit Singal in 2015. Startup Buddy provides support functions such as incorporation, accounting and taxation, secretarial compliance, legal assistance and project advisor to startups in India and abroad.

Amit Singal, the company’s CEO said, “He (Yuvraj Singh) was impressed with the entire team and work culture and therefore also agreed to join the board of directors at Startup Buddy and would love to engage with more startups via Startup Buddy.”

Since its inception, Startup Buddy also working with several funds to provide deal structuring, due diligence and business advisory workshops for portfolio companies.

Startup Buddy served nearly 120 clients, such as Innerchef, Scoopwhoop, Internshala, Silverpush, Deyor, Gamezop, Coho, QDesq, Mamaearth, Better Butter, Burger Singh, Trupay, Advantage Club, Myadva, Zostel, Renomania, PriceMap, Joolz, Lakshya Digital, Kivaplus, Mockbank, Loanzen, Seenit and Niki.ai.

Yuvraj Singh launched the $10-million seed-stage fund YouWeCan Ventures in 2015 to back internet startups in the country. They help exceptional entrepreneurs to tap into new opportunities on their journey to build great brands, teams and companies. The portfolio companies include online beauty services venture Vyomo, logistics startup Moovo, healthcare startup Healthians, the online marketplace for chartered jets JetSetGo, automotive service marketplace Cartisan and sports startup SportyBeans.
