QuickHare Technologies and Solutions Private Limited  referred to as Homefoodmom is India’s first food platform that delivers authentic home food to the customers which promisingly tastes as home food right from vegetarian  to non-vegetarian. This start-up has around 180+ homemakers registered with them located at different places within Pune city processing around 4-5 orders a day. The web portal was launched in February 2015 and the promotions were started in the month of May. A homemaker has her own profile on the website with the detailed description on the items she can prepare with the duration.

Homefoodmom delivers the assured quality food on reasonable rate tags with much quantity compared to that of restaurants. Party orders are also undertaken. Orders can be placed four days in advance too.

Idea behind the Start

Basically there are lots of home makers around the world, who can cook the best tasty food, but because of the unknown marketing tricks, they are unable to showcase their talent and get the appreciation. Sometimes running behind a customer for getting paid on time is an Olympic gold achievement for the home makers. Homefoodmom provides the best solution for the home makers who are willing to earn appreciation and spread the fame world-wide. Initially Satish, the founder came up with this idea and started the business together with his badminton friends Subodh Mahajan and Tejas, the co-founders. Their foodie mind was one which brought them together. Tejas takes care of the coding part and the portal development, Subodh is on the backend logistics and Satish concentrates on funding, marketing and front-end process.

Ordering the food is just simple. Once we login to the www.homefoodmom.com, we can select the location and the nearby landmark. A page with menu card along with homemakers’ pictures who are available nearby to the prescribed location appears on screen. Once we click on the picture of the homemaker, certain filters such as food type, payment options, price, cuisine type etc. are listed too, for a quick and easy search. The food ordered will be delivered based on the duration to prepare. The preparation time for any food item is mentioned well in advance in the website itself for the convenience. The personal information provided by the customers such as name, contact, address, card details etc. are meant to be confidential. Payment can be made either online or Cash on Delivery.

Revenue is generated through the orders placed by the customers to the home makers. It even provides offers and discounts on the bills which exceeds the certain amount.
