4 Rajasthan Startups caught investors interest at Startup India Rocks! Rajasthan chapter

Rajasthan Startups have what it takes to get funded, showed 4 brilliant ventures. This cross-border investment event has chosen 4 startups out of more than 40 startups that were at the event.

Good news for pet lovers, this startup is India’s first online aggregator of pets and pet services. They offer verified pets and pet services like Pet Hostel, Training, Mating, Walking, Grooming, Photo shoot and Veterinary and so on. The pets are verified through a 2 stage process and delivers pets that are pure in breed and healthy.

They also provide free pet expert guidance on phone and in person for choosing the most  suitable pet according to their personality. Currently in Rajasthan and planning to expand their reach in other states post funding.

Their cause seems genuine and startup-ecosystem needs more startups with such pure intentions to solve various problems in industries/sectors. At this event they are willing to giving 12% to 15% for a good amount of money.

This startup is India’s first branded chain of home cooked food delivery service operating in Kota and Indore. This is my first encounter of a home cooked startup. I would love to order from these guys but unfortunately they are not in my city. If they get funded, chances are that they will come to Hyderabad.

Started in January 2014 they claim to deliver more than 5 Lac orders till date and serving 1500+ orders per day both on demand and regular subscription via call/website and android app.

They have created a systematic process to manage operations which connects their employees to website/app to customers resulting in low operational costs and negligible food wastage(0.2% ). Allowing them to provide extremely affordable food so that customer can rely on them for daily diets.

They are all geared up for the finale and hoping to raise Rs 4 Crores  at 20-25% equity.

The startup wants to organize the “helter-skelter” market of laundry. Jetsetclean is a super-fast doorstep laundry & dry-cleaning service provider available at in your smart phone or a phone call on-demand. With a simple interface, customers can place a request for their laundry, dry cleaning or leather goods picked up, processed at their facilities as per the highest standards and delivered neatly packed within 24 hours.

Currently they are servicing in Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, and Ghaziabad. They would like to raise Rs 1.5 Crores in equity based funding at Rs 6 Crore valuation. They are willing to give up 25% of equity to raise the fund.

This Startup was born out of Trilok Tak’s 15 years of experience in Embedded Product Design. They are a engineering solution provider company. Providing IOT and M2M solution in the field of Fuel Management and Asset Management for construction, Mining, and Cement Industry.

Presently they are the only Indian Company who provide integrated solution for Mobile Fuel dispensing and Cloud based management services. The Indian market has been very encouraging for their solution and they are looking to raise 1-1.5 Cr funding against 15-18% equity.
Trilok says their services are one of a kind and only through marketing they can expand their reach.

The panelist included Mr. Mahavir Pratap Sharma (Chairman of RAIN), Mr. Mandar Gadkari (Director, India at Cross Border Angels) Mr. Chintan Bakshi (Chief Operating Officer at Startup Oasis) and Mr. Akhilesh Trivedi (Director, Taxila Entrepreneur Network)

All the startups were given 3 minutes to pitch + 2 minutes for Q&A. The panellists judged them based on

• Their team
• Their space in which they are doing business
• The pain point that they are solving
• Presentation of their idea
• Exit opportunity for investors

The winners would be pitching at the Finale that would be held in Bengaluru. Can’t wait to see who will take the funding.
