Cloud-Based mobile parking technology startup- Get My Parking has secured Pre-Series A funding of $1.1 Million (Rs.7.35 Crore). The rounds were led by Indian Angel Network (IAN), The Chennai Angels (TCA), BEENEXT and Sunil Munjal (Hero group). Earlier in 2015, the startup has raised $376,000 (Rs.2.5 Crore) from The Chennai Angels (TCA). The total equity funding of the startup is of $1.48 Million.
The Delhi-Based startup was founded in the year 2015 by Rasik Pansare and Chirag Jain. Get My Parking saves the trouble for looking parking in big cities. The application will help to navigate the user nearest parking space available. Currently, the application work in Delhi-NCR and soon will expand to other cities in the country.
Rasik Pansare, Co-founder and CMO, Get My Parking said, “Giving way to Mobility Planning, the fund will be invested in deploying our integrated smart parking platform. The pilots have been initiated in Jaipur and Mumbai in collaboration with local government authorities and several citywide contracts. We are poised for international growth by setting up country partners in 6 countries with the enhanced products to fit the requirements of a global parking solution.”
The application is based on IoT which provides a bird view vision of the location which help in finding legal parking spots. Get My Parking has worked with bigger enterprises like Intel, IBM, CISCO, Sterlite, Ericsson and many others. The startup has provided parking solutions for IPL 2016, Krishna Pushkaralu, Lucknow MahaUtsav and Hyderabad Numaish.
Apart from providing parking solutions, Get My Parking also provides city dashboards and enforcement applications for government authorities, revenue analytics for contractors and application programming interface for mobility providers and hardware integrations with original equipment manufacturers.
Last year, the startup was appreciated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Lucknow MahaUtsav, as the startup easily managed to digitize more than 2 lakh vehicles in 400 hectares of parking space. Read more startup funding news.
