Delhi Based EdTech Startup Qonfuse.com raised seed funding from Hamraj Kumar, Founder of CureInstant

Qonfuse.com raised an undisclosed seed fund from CureInstant founder, Hamraj Kumar. These funds would be used for developing their new product, where you can buy 3 online mock tests or 5 or 10, the choice is up to you. You will appear as much as you wish and pay only for the number of question papers you have bought.

Qonfuse was started in Delhi by Mahesh Gaur, an alumnus of GLA University, Mathura along with his two co-founders Shivraj Dhusariya who is pursuing B-Tech from Chanakya Technical campus and Himanshu Srivastava who is an alumnus of IIT Guwahati.

Hamraj Kumar  discovered about Qonfuse.com via a Facebook group called Startup Delhi. Started by Abhishek Kumar Gupta and is now benefiting several people. The group currently has 22k members comprising Entrepreneurs, Wannapreneurs, Investors, Students, Legal and Media persons.

Qonfuse is an online portal, designed similar to the actual online exam interface. The website offers CAT, Banking, SSC  and GATE aspirants an opportunity to prepare themselves by acquainting them with the current pattern. The startup will use the newly raised capital for its growth strategy, improve the product and increase its user base.
Commenting on the market size, the startup said, “As we observe most of the competitive exams are being conducted online. About 1.8 cr students in India are estimated to appear in these exams. The global online learning market is expected to reach $107 Billion this year.”

Recently another EduTech startup got funded, Cuemath. This was started in 2013 and raised $4M in series A funding from Sequoi Capital and existing investor, Unitus Seed Fund. This startup provides a platform where qualified home-makers can provide home tuition online.

In this race there is another startup founded in Bengaluru, Fundamentor. This startup is founded by former director of Ernest Young, Ankur Vohra. Presently it bootstrapped but is expanding its “learning is fun” application in various cities.
