Vikas Purohit, Paytm’s ex- CEO and Amazon fashion’s former head has now been appointed as Tata Cliq COO, a business arm of Tata group. Mr. Purohit will be reporting to Ashutosh Pandey, Chief Executive Officer of Tata Cliq and will be handling a variety of diverse responsibilities.Read about Tata Cliq Review.
A company spokesperson confirmed the report, “Vikas Purohit will be joining as COO to spearhead our commercial and seller management function”. The spokesperson further added, “As we move towards scaling up our business and strengthening our footprint in the Indian e-commerce space, we will be building teams and bringing on board some of the best minds from the industry.“
Launched only four months back, Tata Cliq is an e-commerce based mobile app startup which offers products across apparel, footwear and electronics from over 1,200 brands. The company is also planning to further expand its presence by adding more categories and brands in its app. Vikas Purohit was the CEO of Paytm and also the head of Amazon fashions. Vikas Purohit, is also an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM, Ahmedabad). He worked with Tommy Hilfiger, Reliance Brands, and Madura Garments for more than ten years. Vikas Purohit has resigned from Paytm in the month of June and gave a statement that he would be startup up. This news confirms that his startup journey is on a hold. Tata Cliq has got pathetic user reviews in terms of operations. They definitely need an experienced person like Vikas Purohit who has worked in many different relevant companies to expand and grow. Please don’t ever buy any thing from Tata Cliq app or web site or any other way. They are selling fraud only, once you bought any product from then 99% you will get damaged/ low quality/ used product and then don’t expect any return or refund of money from them. Check all web site/ app of Tata Cliq you don’t find any product review/ user review option, because they know well the people will bang them in reviews. As well there is no refund or return options actually options are there but they only guide to nothing. So friends don’t buy any product from them. I bought washing machine from them and I got damaged, dented machine really crab, so beware don’t waste your time any money on them.
