Rishi Jaitly quits after four years of journey with Twitter. This is not a surprise since Twitter recently fired employees from their Bengaluru office. The resignation was made public through a series of post/poems written by him on his Twitter account.
His posts are like a riddle and one cannot really make sense of his resignation through them. One of his posts does mention of him going to Chicago on “a personal/civic calling”. He feels proud to have leaded this social media platform for 4 years. Leading Twitter India and Twitter Media across Asia and Middle East was a lifetime leadership experience, he says.
He thanks Shailesh Rao, VP Twitter for believing in him, Katie Jacobs Stanton, VP of Global Media, Twitter for trusting him and Dick Costolo, ex-CEO of Twitter for leading the global opportunities. He joined Twitter India in November 2012 as India Director for this social media platform.

Twitter has been in news for considering a buyout, then when potential buyers backed out they are now thinking of new strategies to run the business. They are not able to generate enough revenues to run the company. Compared to Facebook, marketing solutions on twitter are expensive but very effective.
