Dr Sujit Chatterjee arrested in Kidney scam case

Dr Sujit Chatterjee CEO of Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital was arrested in Kidney scam case. This Indian CEO sorted to make easy bucks by breaking the law. Dr Sujit Chatterjee, CEO of L H Hiranandani Hospital along with the medical director and three other doctors were arrested under sections 12 and 21 of The Transplantation of Human Organs Act, 1994. Mumbai police (Powai Station) received a complaint from a social worker about this illegal activity.

The social worker received the tip from a reliable source, the name of the social worker or their source is not revealed. Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital was founded in 2004 and is one of the best hospitals in Mumbai. The arrested-accused were CEO Dr Sujit Chatterjee, medical director Dr Anurag Naik, nephrologist Dr Mukesh Shete, and urologists Dr Mukesh Shah and Dr Prakash Shetty. Kindney transplant operation of Brijkishore Jaiswal was stopped by the police. Upon inquiry it was found that Brijkishore Jaiswal was receiving kidney from Shobha Thakur, who was claiming to be his wife. Only blood relations are allowed to donate organs. Mr Jaiswal has sought ought anticipatory bail while Shobha is arrested and will be presented in court. Shameful day for this Indian CEO. Read about Startup Scam
