The multi-talented television producer, American businessperson and politician, Donald Trump journey started when he was born and brought up in Jamaica Estates, Queens near New York City on June 14, 1946. Donald is the President and Chairperson of The Trump Organization, which is a real estate venture and has worked on many projects like office tower, golf courses, hotels, an urban development project in Manhattan and many other projects worldwide. Trump is the second youngest son of Fred and Mary Trump and has four siblings – Elizabeth, Robert and Maryanne. He left his school at the age of 13 because of his rude and rough behavior problems. Given the authority of the company in 1971, he renamed it to The Trump Organisation. His first huge deal was the construction of the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan in 1978. This was then followed by the setting up of the Trump Tower in 1983. He expanded his business to a great extent by later acquiring the Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, Plaza Hotel in Manhattan, the Taj Mahal Casino in New Jersey, and so much more. His organisation looks after many resorts and golf courses in the US. Along with real estate, Trump has also been involved in beauty pageants and professional sports. Though he owns multiple homes, Trump loves to spend most of his free time in Trump Tower in Manhattan. He himself does not drink but owns a Vodka brand which was launched in 2006.
Appearing for the Presidential Elections was an idea that was running in Trump’s head since long. He is a well-known figure in America and is now the Republican Party Nominee for president in 2016 with his campaign Slogan “Make America Great Again”.
