Rajnikanth is Kabali in his new movie
Rajinikanth is back with a bang and this time he created the Kabali buzz, with customized merchandise being available online, cars modification, Thaliava’s poster pictured on the special aircraft by Air Asia for the Superstar fans, we have witnessed a huge impact that he had on the society. Well, frankly, who would have thought that a former bus conductor would create a buzz in a start-up community?
Today, every Rajinikanth fan wish they were working at a Chennai Start-up. The Kabali frenzy has left few finding good time to run campaigns and promos. The impact was so far as to say that Chennai Start-ups have declared holiday on the release day of Kabali, the upcoming starrer of the Superstar Rajinikanth. It shouldn’t be surprising to know that a Chennai-based start-up is already in plan to manage a special screening for all its employees and is booking entire shows at Sathyam cinemas in Chennai.
Freshdesk, OrangeScape, GoBumpr, OyeThere.com are few of the Chennai based Start-ups which have offered their employers with First Day First Show privilege.
Rajinikanth – Inspiration
It comes as an inspiration for so many to watch a Rajini flick and then set things up. One instance is that, Girish Mathrubootham co-founded Freshdesk, exactly a week after he watched Rajini’s blockbuster Enthiran. He adds that the movie had an impact. Besides, he took his entire staff to watch Kochadaiiyaan and Lingaa back in 2014. It seems that he’s ready with his plans this time too.
Despite all this, what drives everyone to be his follower is the Superstar’s style and charisma on screen even at the age of 65 and down-to-earth nature off screen. He meets the two ends of extremes of life in both the worlds – cinema and reality. Start-up enthusiasts would to have the same as well – being productive at work and being humble at life. Perhaps, this coincidence has gotten their nerves and made them encircle July 22 on their calendars.
No doubt, the trailer has given goose bumps to the Chennai start-up ecosystem which made them go frenzy over the flick and the Rajini’s sentiment. However, we might have to watch out for the coming days after the Kabali to witness the influence. Who knows the intensity of a demigod, one and only, our very own, Thalaivar? Perhaps, time knows.
