MindTickle is a Pune – based sales solutions startup. The startup announced yesterday (14/12/2017) that it has raised US $27 million in Series B round of funding from Canaan Partners. The startup’s existing partners like Accel Partners, New Enterprise Associate (NEA) and Qualcomm Ventures are also reported to have participated in that round of funding. MindTickle was founded in 2011 by Krishna Depura, Deepak Diwakar, Mohit Garg and Nishant Mungali. The startup has so far raised US $41.3 million through equity and debt investments since its inception. “This additional funding will allow us to accelerate the vision we share with our clients for data-driven sales enablement”, said Krishna Depura, co-founder and CEO of MindTickle.
MindTickle is a data-driven sales readiness platform and its mobile app provides services like micro-learning, skills development and sales coaching tutorials.
“Sales Readiness is the single most important metric that every public company CEO is paying attention to and the best predictor of future performance”, said Joydeep Bhattacharyya, a partner at Canaan.
Mr. Bhattacharyya has joined MindTickle’s Board of Directors (BoD) as part of the investment deal.
The other sales solutions startups to get funded this year (2017) include EasyRewardz Software Services Pvt. Ltd., which secured US $2 million (Rs. 13 crores) in Series A round of funding from Trans-Continental Venture Fund and the sales solutions and data analytics startup, Qubole, which raised US $25 million (Rs. 163 crores) in Series D round of funding led by Singtel Innov8 and Harmony Partners during November, this year (2017).
