Apollo TeleHealth Services wins awards at Industrial Innovation Summit

Apollo TeleHealth Services (An Apollo Hospitals Initiative), under the leadership of Mr. Vikram Thaploo (CEO) has won two awards at the 7thIndustrial Innovation Summit organized by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) jointly with Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP), Government of India and NITI Aayog at New Delhi.

Apollo TeleHealth Services won awards:

  1. Category leader in “The most innovative enterprises (SME)”
  2. One of the “Top 26 Most Innovative Company”

The awards were handed over in a blistering ceremony by distinguished industry leaders which included Mr. S. Gopalakrishnan (Chairman, CII Start-up Council 2017-18/Co-founder Infosys & Chairman Axilor Ventures), Mr Sacha Wunsch-Vincent (Senior Economic Officer
World Intellectual Property Organization), Dr. Naushad Forbes (Past President, Confederation of Indian Industry Co-Chairman, Forbes Marshall),Dr C Muralikrishna Kumar (Senior Adviser -NITI Aayog) among others.

Summit is organized To promote the innovation and technology prowess of Indian firms to a global audience and attract maximum FDI in select sectors pertaining to “Make in India”

Recognized as an important player in the global innovation ecosystem, India is aspiring to become “The Destination” as an innovation hub of the world within next few decades. This recognition owes a lot to the technological and innovative advancements that the Indian Industry has made over last two decades, and going forward such recognition is only destined to grow by virtue of the tremendous possibilities that the industry has in store. In short, the industry has been successful in shaping India’s innovation movement in the past, and there remains a lot more to explore about industry’s potential to innovate in future.
