Gaming Entertainment Company SMAAASH Entertainment are in talks to raise Private Equity Fund of Rs.200 Crore from unknown sources. The funding is likely to be closed by the second quarter of this year. Founder Shripal Morakhai himself declared the deal and when asked to name the investors, he declined to name them as both the companies wanted to keep it confidential.
Founded in 2009, SMAAASH Entertainment is a sports-centric immersive and interactive entertainment center offering a mix of active and passive entertainment and innovative games. The co-founders of the company include Indian Star Cricket player Sachin Tendulkar.
Smaaash Entertainment Pvt Ltd. operates entertainment all across India. The company provides sports simulation technology based cricket, football, racing, and recreational activities along with dining for men, women, and children.
In October 2012, SMAAASH has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from FW sports investment funds and Sachin Tendulkar himself. The company has their presence in Mumbai, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Noida and Ludhiana, besides the United States.
Besides it existence in bigger cities in India and globally in USA, they will be setting new outlets in Dubai and Saudi Arabia. The company are planning to use their fresh funds in expanding their network and bringing more adventurous experiences for the people. Read more funding news.
