Hyderabad-based uber-local commerce platform Nukkad Shops battled with 31 startups for get in the ring winner title (GITR).
The Get in the Ring Foundation is a global non-profit organization that hosts, events to connect startups with opportunities related to expertise, investment and skills. They have a global reach that helps startups network with investors, mentors, and corporates. This year, for the first time ever, GITR is coming to India, as a part of the DHI Lab’s IMPACT Chapter Startup Challenge.
Among 200 startups present at the event only 32 were selected for “get in the ring” challenge. Out of which only 16 could proceed to the next level and finally only 2 were picked for the grand finale. The audience was excited and thrilled with the format of this challenge, were startups fought with each other in a boxing arena with gloves filled with words.
Rajat Tandon, Vice President at NASSCOM tells the final contenders to “box hard and get your fame”. After 4 levels of intense fight Nukkad Shop grabs the judges heart and the trophy.
