Feelance was conceived in November 2015 and launched in January 2016 and within three months after the launch, on-boarded 10,000 plus senior consultants across 8 countries and 20+ different industry sectors and is on track to cross the 25,000 mark by April end. Till date about 150+ clients have used the platform to find consultants for more that 300+ consulting assignments.
Feelance received funding and strategic backing from Hunt Partners, a leading executive search firm with offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
Harshdeep Rapal is a serial entrepreneur and comes with a strong experience in building and scaling up Internet platforms globally. In his last role Harshdeep was leading the expansion of a Rocket Internet venture for all the countries in South East Asia region. Prior to joining Rocket Internet, Harshdeep was the co-founder and CEO at EarthenKraft, an online portal for ethnic wear and handicrafts.
Talking about future plans Harshdeep says
“Currently about 30% of the site traffic comes from the US, about 60% from India and majority of the rest is from South East Asia and Middle East. Feelance is now all set to expand into these geographies. All the new product and services offerings of Feelance will be launched with a global audience in mind. The company aims to expand its presence in 15 countries in next 2 years.”
