Dear Mark Zuckerberg ISRO will not blow up your satellite

Chat Image from Techcrunch.com

Mark Zuckerberg is very much disappointed to see his ambitious internet.org satellite got blown up at SPACEX launch facility. Elon was quite unhappy about what happened with Falcon 9 rocket and here is the chat context between both of them.

This mission failure costed Nearly 284M USD for SPACE-X and apparently this is not covered under insurance.

This is what he posted on his Facebook timeline.

Dear Mark,
I am sure you must be disappointed on what happened there with your Internet.org payload. Let the next payload go with ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) the most successful satellite launch organisations across the globe. ISRO holds the record for the most number of payloads launched in an orbit and have seen no failure at all so far. ISRO launched satellites for 20 countries and 51 international clients including that of USA.

When it comes to the cost, Rest assured ISRO has been quite economical and will be a minuscule for facebook. You will be surprised to hear that Indian Lunar mission costed us only 80M USD(Most cheapest in the world, Just 2/10th of other countries) .

I am sure after knowing the quick facts about the Indian space scientists and ISRO’s successful track record you will definitely love to have your satellite in the orbit.
We Indians Helped you connect 1st Billion and will surely help you connect next billion.

India does not have a rocket that supports the satellite launch of the size of AMOS-6 that exploded in the SpaceX launch! Even India launches its heavy satellites of 4tonnes+ using a French rocket by Ariane. And even if we had a working GSLV MK-3 then we could have only put AMOS-6 into LEO not GEO. Media must understand technology capacities before publishing articles!

And here you are who blew the facts.

The previous comment of Dinesh says exactly what the facts are. So, probably next time do some research before posting something.

By the way where did the journalist get his degree.
