Artificial Intelligence startup Niki.AI gets funding from Ratan Tata
Industrialist turned startup investor Ratan Tata has invested in artificial intelligence startup NIki.Ai. Earlier the company has received undisclosed investment from Ronnie Screwvala-led Unilazer ventures.
In recent time artificial intelligence startups are the talk of tech industry. Almost all the big companies like google, Amazon, Facebook and Microsoft are doing huge investments in this area.
Google has announced in yesterdays I/O conference about its plans about using AI in devices and also its own messaging apps Allo and Duo.
Artificial intelligence has capability to automate lot of daily tasks and its applications can become integral part of day to day life. Artificial intelligence based virtual assistants are the first accepted version of technology and in future it is expected that bots can surpass the human intelligence.
Niki is build by IIT Kharagpur alumni, Niki is the first AI-fueled smart-purchasing assistant in the entire world, with the aim to both revolutionize customer interaction and redefine the buying experience as a whole. Niki aspires to be the ideal personal digital assistant – one that allows users of every kind to make smart shopping choices by eliminating the additional time, the strain, and the confusion shopping entails in the modern age. By taking advantage of Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning, Niki is designed to understand advanced communication and simple text-speak, adapting to every user’s preferences and creating the ideal AI-to-human interaction.
